Time again for the reminder that Top Gear is on the box tonight. Actually, this series has been all over the place, what with changing times and missed weeks, so unless you’ve got it on Sky+ it’s going to be easy to miss. Most of the shows have been on at 9pm but if you tune in for then tonight you may just catch the closing credit.

Why does the Singapore Grand Prix, which is brilliantly put together and looks stunning, always seem to disappoint? You’d expect it to be an Eastern version of Monaco - run as it is on a street circuit - but it still seems to lack any real character. Maybe it’s just us?
